# Pixel Brush

> Pixel Brush is a free, all-ages Minecraft server. Play BedWars in teams of two, settle into vanilla survival, and play fair with a community that looks out for each other.

- Access: Early access (Alpha 0.1), invite only. The server is whitelist-only; every player has 1 invite. A new player needs an invite from a player who already plays: they type /invite java <name> or /invite bedrock <gamertag>.
- Price: free to play. No pay-to-win; anything ever sold is cosmetic.
- Audience: all ages
- Game modes:
  - BedWars (Team battle): Four teams of two on floating islands. Gather resources, guard your bed and break everyone else's. Last team standing wins. Walk through the BedWars portal in the lobby.
  - Survival (Vanilla SMP): Plain vanilla survival in a shared world with its own Nether and End. No claims and no shortcuts. PvP is on, so watch your back. Type /smp in the lobby. You pick up where you left off.
- Rules: Be kind. No bullying, hate or swearing. Keep builds and names clean. Stay private. Don't share or ask for personal details. No links or ads. Play fair. No cheats, hacks or exploits.
- Safety: All chat is monitored by our safety systems. There are no private messages between players. Anyone can report a problem in game with /report, and our systems log every report for review. No pay-to-win. Anything we ever sell is cosmetic.
- Not an official Minecraft product. Not approved by or associated with Mojang or Microsoft.

- [Is Pixel Brush free?](https://pixelbrush.gg/faq/#free): Yes. Pixel Brush is free to play. If we ever open a shop it will sell cosmetics only, never anything that helps you win.
- [How do I get an invite?](https://pixelbrush.gg/faq/#invite): Ask a friend who already plays. Every player has one invite. They type /invite java <name> for a Java friend or /invite bedrock <gamertag> for a Bedrock friend, and then you join with the normal address. Without an invite the game says "You are not whitelisted on this server!". If your friend typed your name wrong, they can fix it with /invite change <old> <new> until you first join, and /invites shows who they invited.
